I reserved and set up the framework for this blog at least two years ago and each month I have promised myself that I would start to work on it next month and the months have just rolled on by. The excuses have been abundant but it’s time to stop kidding myself. The real reason this blog has never gotten off the ground until now (hopefully) is because my vision for the blog was too far removed from who I am as a person and real life. I have decided to let go of my pretensions of this blog being as polished as Vogue and will let myself write about things that interest me and strike me as beautiful. This will be the space where I showcase things, thoughts, adventures and the like that I find beautiful with a particular emphasis on beauty found in everyday life. It may not always be as beautiful as a magazine but I do promise that if anything it will be an honest space.

This is my pursuit of realistic beauty in life.

P.S. Thanks mom and hubby for reading this post!

P.P.S. Any big brands wanting my stats… Readership is currently two people. One daddy-to-be cycling enthusiast and a granny-to-be .
